Talking Tottering with Annie Tempest
We ran a competition in May 2021 with a Giveaway of one of our fabulous Tottering by Gently glass worktop protector and heatstand. We asked you to submit a question for Annie Tempest, the genius behind Tottering by Gently and Margaret Collier was the lucky winner with her question having been personally selected by Annie.
People are so fascinated by the genius behind the fabulous Tottering by Gently cartoon that has been running on the back page of Country Life Magazine for a quarter of a century. We do not run that many competitions, but thought we would give you the opportunity to pose your questions and a chance to win a prize. Often we can answer your queries, but there are those we can’t and others we never thought to ask.
Margaret’s question for Annie was “
Living in Broughton Hall while it was being restored from disrepair posed challenges. Which do you now recall with affection, and why?"
